How can you tell what the resolution of a screen is when is measured by width and height?
The measurements of 1080p in width and height are 1920x1080. How can I translate that backwards? The iPhone XS has 2688x1242. The iPhone XR has 1792x828. Do you determine resolution by height like the measurements for 1080p? So the XR would be better resolution than 720p?
For the purpose of comparisons, you can regard 2688x1242 as 1242p and 1792x828 as 828p, yes.
By refally of what i want
The 1080 in 1080p is the height.
resolution IS height and width. Those iPhones have a non-standard resolution (many phones do now).
XR is technically 828p and XS is 1242p.
both are closer to letterbox than 16x9. Some apps and video players have had issues on these phones. Not very smart, for a smart phone maker…
- Why are the colors and resolution on my iPhone so much better than on my laptop? I'm a photographer (and yes, I know I should be editing on a desktop) and when I post photos it seems like the colors are much deeper and the resolution is much more clear on my iPhone than they are where I edit them… On my laptop. Which device is "off"? Will they be closer if I were to edit on a desktop (I'm in the process of saving up for one)?
- What to do if girlfriend keeps lying and you tell her you know the truth? Me and my girlfriend been together 5 years and we've had ups and dwns and we made a promise to each other that we would stay faithful and I did but this dude texted her and they were texting for a while and I found out cause she deleted the messages but she has a iphone and I seen all of them in the spotlight search but she's still lying about the situation
- What is the best bang for your buck video camera for retro style filming at 24 fps, 4K resolution, and no camera judder? Below $1,250? I use an anamorphic adapter lens for an iPhone 6s Plus(+filmic pro) and while the footage is 10 times better than basic iPhone footage, I can't help but notice the jerkiness of edged objects at 24 frames even when I'm holding the phone as still as I can. I've experimented with different frames, shutter speeds, ISO
- TV screen size based on height and width measurements? I'm getting my girlfriend a new tv for Christmas but obviously l don't want her to know so I had to measure her current tv but not with a tape measure lol. I used my iPhone 3GS as a tool lol. The screen is roughly 14 inches up and 24 inches across. So (roughly) what is the screen size? 22inch etc Clearly you haven't ready the description to this question. I'm asking for the tv size based on current measurements of the height and width.
