How come 3G still shows on my iphone 4 but it is no longer in service?
I had an iphone 4 but then i got a new iphone 5. Verizon switched the phone number, the cellular service, and the data plan (3g upgraded to LTE for iphone 5) to my new phone. The iphone 4 should be out of commision, that is, unable to use for cellular service, or any internet (other than wi-fi). I want to sell the iphone 4 but when I turn it on, and it goes to the set up wizard because it has been restored, it still shows 3G in the top left corner. Does this mean that the 3G has not been disabled from that phone by verizon? I'm worried that if i sell the phone, someone will be using data that will then be charged to me.
Also, if i did a restore on my iphone 4 and restored it to factory settings, that means that my mail accounts, contacts, etcetera are all gone and unable to be viewed once set up again on the iphone 4, correct?
Do you have sprint.
- Sprint contract ended but it still shows in signal? I have a sprint iphone and my contract ended but on the signal sign, it still says "sprint". And i still get voicemails from my sprint number and can't log in to imessage and/or facetime since my sprint line is deactivated and my phone is sprint, so its as if they cut off my network line and now i can't log in… I don't know what to do? I can't reset my phone for reasons (even with backup) … What do i do?
- New iPhone won't get service but my older iPhone gets service? I just got a 6s and went to the Verizon store to get my upgrade. I used to have a 5s. My 5s is still getting service and my 6s is not. I turned off cellular data on my 5s and and made sure both data and LTE were working on my 6s but it still isn't working.
- Inbox shows 1 unread mail but there's no mail, shows on iphone also? There's no mail to read, not in trash, spam, nothing is there and nothing mail wise is missing…
- I deleted all my pictures from iPhone but iTunes still shows them? I got rid of all my pics on my iPhone 6 few days ago, but my memory is still "full" and iTunes says they are still on my phone, what should i do?
