How could I model an iPhone 5 with clay for a project?
I have a project due this Thursday and I got this assignment in Feb. But I have no idea on how to model an iPhone with clay. I chose clay because that's what people recommended me to use! If someoe could get me the measurements or give me an idea on how I oculd model it, I would love you forever!
What kind of "clay"?**
What size would your model be? Do you have to scale it precisely?
an iPhone showing which screen… Or off?
Without more info, I'd just say to check out some of the ideas used for making a model of a cellphone as a cake, then use that with whichever clay you're using:

Or check out the main Miniatures page at my polymer clay site to see how most clay miniatures are made which would be the same general principles:

Here are the exact dimensions and 3 view pictures.http://www.apple.com/iphone/specs.html
Or you could have simply done "iphone 5 dimensions" in Google like I did.
But since you came to Sculpture, your question would have gotten far better answers if instead of all the weasel words and begging you had actually told us the purpose of the model - art class, a prop in theater, an illustration for technology or design. Then the choices between an easy to use clay that required no processing but would not be easy to handle (for display only) and a clay that can produce a very close equivalent to the phone for fake use or demo but requires baking or drying time might have been made with less complications. You might also indicate what resources you have available - you are in a lot more trouble in a small town area with no craft stores compared to a college town or larger city.
- Where to find clay balls in minecraft? Where do I find clay balls in minecraft. I've tried looking near the ocean but I can't find it. BTW I'm on iPhone. Please Answer!
- When getting a replacement iPhone do apple give you the same model or a newer model? I have an iPhone 5 and on Tuesday I'm getting a replacement because of the battery. Would the "geniuses" give me a newer model (like the iPhone 5c or IPhone 5s) or the same model.
- Is there any way of copying a iMovie project from iPhone to PC? A video I made is to long to be exported to anywhere else like Facebook or YouTube so I was wondering can I connect my iphone to my laptop and find it that way and copy it over to my PC?
- Is there an iPhone adapter for the newer model to the older model? I recently bought an iPhone 5c and got an ihome for it. The phone got stolen and now I have to downgrade to a 4s but you still want to be able to use the ihome. Is there an adapter for the smaller charger to the newer charger?
