How did numbers end up on iphone Blocked List that I did not put there?

I have had an iphone5 for the past 2 months. At that time, I used the Block feature to block one single number from my contacts list. I have not blocked any numbers since then.

Yesterday, I happened to look at the Blocked list, and there are 9 phone numbers that I do not recognize on it - they were never in my contacts or blocked manually by me. All out of state area codes. The original # that I blocked is still there.

I called AT&T and they did not have an answer. They said I would have had to manually block the numbers - which I did not.

I looked up all the numbers on Google - most are from 801 area code in Utah. I have not called them back. One is a 767 area code that is from the Dominican Republic.

Another weird thing - when I was on the phone with AT&T, the rep went through my phone bill for past two months and none of the 9 numbers are on there.

Any ideas?

Creepy… Maybe family member or friend playing a prank on you? Jealous girlfriend who knows you have a couple exes in the Utah area taking precautions? I really don't know. How bizarre. O.o I hope you get a real answer.

  • Would restoring my iPhone unblock any blocked numbers? All of my iPhone contacts have been bloked I have a k9 app on my computer and a find my iPhone app and the app store is disabled I need to know if restoring the iphone would unblock all the blocked numbers if I tried calling them after restoring it?
  • Will blocked numbers on my iphone stay blocked when I get a new iphone? My girlfriend blocked a number of a person she wasn't supposed to be talking to. She swore up and down she did. She got a new phone and months later that number called. Did she lie to me. She uses the same icloud account, the same phone number.
  • Where to see list of people I blocked on instagram? Where can I see a list of people that I blocked on instagram? I've looked but I can't find it anywhere! I'm using a iPhone 4 and ipad 3 if that matters
  • Is there a comprehensive list as to what one is supposed to put in each type of tea? Specifically how many sugars (what type of sugar, or if honey is supposed to be added), how much milk or if a lemon should be served… There's mention of there being rules in the movie (and book) the Davinci Code, this is the way Robert Landing gains entry into Sir Leigh Teabing's home. I would love to have a book on this, but an iphone app I can reference on the go would also be fantastic.
