How do all these jobless people afford their expensive things

Okay, we're military and just moved I a new area. (St. Louis)
Now, no offense to black people at all, but it seems to be majority blacks…
How are they affording their college education with no job?
Their Land Rover with the sound system and 18" rims
The expensive designer clothes (and saggy pants men)
Their expensive shoes
Their iPhone/smartphone… IPad, tablets, etc.
Their expensive purses and accessories
Getting their nails/hair "did"

I mean all of this stuff… It isn't just a few people, it's like 50% of the people here?
I'm not used to this at all and I'm just curious as to how people are affording all of this!
We work so hard (my husband and I) and we can just barely afford our (mediocre vehicle payments, cell phone bills, and other bills)
When they admit to having no jobs and all that, how are they even affording toothpaste!
I know there are food stamps, but come on that can't get them approved for car loans and other things without a job.

Oh and one more thing… What the hell is "finna"?
It sounds terrible!

Most likely these people are getting deeper and deeper into debt. Pretty soon no one will lend to them anymore and they will not be able to keep up their overindulgent lifestyle. Kudos to you for living within your means; don't try to keep up with those liars.

However, you're clearly exaggerating when you say the jobless rate is 50%.It may be that most of the people you see with these expensive things have better-paying jobs than you do.
