How do all these poor people have all the name brand stuff?

Like all the poor people wear all the polo and abercrombie and fitch. They all have coach purses. They all have iphones. They drive new pretty cars. How do they afford all of this?

Maybe that's why they are poor, having wasted too much money on brand name merchandise.

If they can afford all of that then they can't be poor.

They are all knock-offs.

Are you asking to see peoples' financial statements? How do you know they are 'poor'? All the poor people wear brand name clothes, really? And what difference to you what 'poor' people wear, anyway?

If they can afford all of this they are not poor.

3. Maybe they're just not poor. Generally when someone has nice clothes, nice purses, iphones, and new cars, "poor" isn't the first thing that comes to my mind.
