How to get a prepaid iphone 4s on AT&T with gophone and have mobile internet?

I'm so confused! Ok so i looked online and people are saying i need gophone for my prepaid plan and a microsim thing what is a microsim? And does it cost extra per month along with the gophone thing?

You can't do that. I've never heard of someone having the iPhone 4 as a pay as you go plan because 1 you have to get a microsim to activate the phone which they only sell at AT&T locations and 2 gophone plans don't offer the data plan that's required for the iPhone 4. You need some contract with AT&T otherwise you just have an iPhone that can't do anything.

They don't sell microsims, which are smaller sim cards specifically designed to fit in the iPhone, without a contractual agreement to bind it to the iPhone. They don't offer pay as you go plans with the iPhone 4 for that reason because it takes a microsim. Plus the you have to have the data plan in order for your iPhone to work which you can only get through a contract with AT&T

  • Would I be able to buy an iPhone 5s from a T-Mobile store and then activate the $30 prepaid plan? Like can I buy the phone at the store and activate it or do I have to buy the phone at Walmart while I get the plan.

I'm going to restore my phone back to factory state and want to sign up for AT&T prepaid plan but is it possible to do it w/o buying the GoPhone?
