How do i get around activation lock on iPhone 7+?
I bought an iPhone and it has a activation lock. It was a clean purchase and the iPhone is not black listed. It's clean. I just can't get into it and don't know the old owners email and password.
I would try to get a hold of the seller first. If they are not a fraud, they'll help. If they won't, try taking it to Apple and just explain the situation. I'm not sure how much they can do but at least try. Without either of those options you may be SOL.

You most likely bought a stolen phone.
There's NO way to get around iCloud lock.
Crazy's link worked… 4 years ago. And even then, it wasn't a true bypass. I watched the video and the guy clearly says that apps will not open.
- Will I get activation lock if I restore? So my Iphone 5 running iOS 7.0.4 got stuck on apple logo. The problem is that I'm using a different apple id than before and I don't remember my password and thus i can't around Activation Lock. But before i got this problem i turned off find my iphone but on my newer itunes id if this has any connection whatsoever.
- Will flashing my iphone get rid of the activation lock? I bought a iphone 4s from someone and they forgot to sighn the iphone off of there icloud account. So i'm wondering if i have it flashed ( say by Metro PCS os something ) will the iphone be like new again?
- Why did I get an activation lock in regards to 'Find my iPhone'? So yesterday I was in the middle of texting my friend until my phone switched off then like 5 seconds later the apple logo came up. Then I was told to enter my Apple ID and password etc and something to with find my iPhone. I can't remember the exact words but it also said "it may take a few minutes to activate your phone". I bought my iPhone from a second hand shop in 2014. So what did this mean?
- Who can tell me how to get past that activation lock on iPhone 5s? I have proof of purchase to an iPhone 5s I purchased from eBay. Apple informed me that they or my phone provider could bypass the activation lock and that is why I purchased the phone for a better price than buying brand new. Then neither the Apple store nor AT&T could help me with my problem. The seller hasn't been much of a help and will not give me the information I need to get past the activation lock, is there another way?
