How do I get rid of already-installed ringtones from my iPhone?

For example, I'd like to get rid of Marimba

You can't. They're in the protected section of the iOS.

You'd need to jailbreak your phone to be able to delete those ringtones.

You'd have to root the phone, or simply choose to use other ringtones. I know the installed ringtones waste kilobytes of your valuable gigabytes of storage, but you can live with it.

Can't.

That would require root access which most likely isn't possible yet if you're on the latest update. Why do you want to remove them anyway? They take up such a small bit of storage and can easily be ignored, removing them wouldn't really benefit you at all

  • Why did my iPhone 6 allow me to download an app that was already installed? I've been thinking someone might have hacked into my phone but haven't been able to find any kind of actual proof, until now. My iPhone 6 let me install textfree which was already installed to begin with. Why?
  • Should I get rid of my iPhone and get a basic phone? I've had an iPhone for 2 years, and my contract runs out 9/2/12, should I get a 4s or a Pantech Jest 2? I want to save my dad money, and all I really use my iPhone for is music and Facebook. My friends say I should stick with my iPhone, but I don't know… Share your input, thanks

  • How to get the ringtones I made on my old iPhone onto my new iPhone? I used an app and took a lot of time to create ringtones from my music library. Then in a fit of trying to create some room, I deleted the app. I downloaded it again, but the tones aren't there anymore. They're still saved into my ringtones. I would just like to know if there's a way to get them from one phone to the other like through iTunes or something so I don't have to spend a bunch of time recreating them.
