How to make a song my ring tone on my iPhone 4?

I've just gotten an iPhone 4 and I want to make a song my ring tone. I know there are apps you can buy but I don't want to waste my money because my sister says there's a way to do it through itunes but apparently it's complicated. I'm not very good with computers and stuff so could someone give me a simple and detailed explanation of how to do this?

Your sister is right there's a way to do it thru itunes, and she is rite again its very complicated to do.
there's no simple and detailed way to explan it to you, unless your good with computers and kno your apple stuff. It would be best to be shown!

thats what i have and i can set any of my music as ringtone or sms or alarm tone,.
