How to restart my iphone if it is off and the lock button is broken?
The power button has been broken for several months now. And up until now I haven't had to worry about it that much. My only problem was not being able to do a screen snapshot. However, today my phone decided to shut off for no reason. I tried plugging it into the charger and my computer. Didn't work. I even tried take the sim-card out and that didn't work either. Should I just call it quits and get a new phone or can someone out there help me with this!
Normally when you plug to the charger the phone should turn on. Just try plugging and unplugging the charger. If you can find a technician who could help in your area show it to him. If not then it is bye bye to youe iphone

Option 1: Let the phone discharge until it turns off. Then, you can charge it again and it should turn on when it reaches a high enough battery level.
Option 2: If you dare, you can reset the device's network settings which will restart it (but obviously, also clear your network settings).
Option 3: But really, you should take it into an Apple store, so they can deal with the underlying problem of your broken button!
If all else fails and your iPhone is really dead, just sell it online and make an upgrade! There are sites that accepts iPhones (may it be old, used, and broken). I recommend Cashforiphones.com and learn how much will they pay for your broken gadget.
