How do I stop my files I put on my Desktop (Macbook Pro) from automatically uploading to iCloud?
Lots of my files on my desktop automatically go up to iCloud immeadiately and without an internet connection I can't access them later. Is there a way to select a file individually on the desktop and make it so it stays on the local hard drive and not upload to the cloud?
I'm on high sierra 10.13.6
It's not possible to synch to iCloud without an Internet connection.
That definitely has nothing to do with my question

- Why does my Computer take forever to copy files to my Desktop now? My computer was working fine until yesterday. All of the sudden it takes 2 hours to copy 20 videos from my iphone to my computer. I do this All the time and it takes no longer than 20 secs to copy the files to my desktop. But yesterday and today it's been taking up to 2 hours. I have windows 7 and an HP computer. It's practically a brand new PC.

- Thoughts on iPhone 11/11 Pro/Pro Max? I think it's amazing (especially after having an iPhone 8 previously) the best thing about it is the battery life.
