Will uploading 7500 photos from iphone to macbook slow down my computer?

So basically i have a new macbook 13" retina and it has about 500GB In total with 380GB available. I want to upload about 7500 photos from my phone to my macbook, but i'm afraid itll slow down my computer a lot.

Does anyone have experience of some sort? Or have any advice

Added (1). oh and itll take about 100GB of space too

- Your MAC won't slow down unless there's a really small amount of memory left in your hard drive (e.g 10GB below).

- Applications that runs in background are the culprit of decrease in performance (e.g antivirus)

- Multiple applications running at the same time can also cause slow down (Playing games while browsing on the internet, playing videos, downloading files).

- While photos, documents (e.g Word, Excel), videos saved on the hardrive will not cause any slow down.

Shouldn't do… The hard drive is just storage space, the RAM on it is what handles the things actively running on the computer, but still needs at least 10-20GB left on the HDD for the RAM to temporarily stick things when it's busy handling something else.

Nope. Unless you're opening all 7500 pictures at once, it won't slow down.

  • Will Google+ Photos distinguish photos from my iPhone and my Macbook Pro? I have Google+ backup for both my iPhone and my Macbook Pro (iPhoto) and I was wondering if it would distinguish pictures from the two. Like… "Photos from your iPhone" & "Photos from your Mac" Or, does it just upload them all into one place, and categorize all the photos just by date?
  • Will adding music to my iPhone slow it down? I'm getting an iPhone 5 this friday and i want to know if adding music to it will somehow slow it down? I currently have 253 songs on my itunes and i'm getting a 16GB iPhone. Will it affect the way the iPhone works? I have an ipod touch as well. The newest kind. I just wanna know if i should add music or just carry around my phone AND my ipod.
  • Wi-Fi is fast on my Macbook, slow on my iPhone? The Wi-Fi is both 3 bars, but the Wi-Fi on my iPhone is much much slower than the one on my Macbook. In fact, my Macbook Wi-Fi is pretty fast. I'm using the same Wi-Fi, yes. Is this normal?
  • Uploading voice memos from iphone to computer? I'm lost on this. When I sync my phone I can only sync music and videos… But can't see the voice memos anywhere. I have 1 hour of recordings as 2 separate voice memos on my phone.
