Everyone kept saying to down load Adblocker. So i finally did it. Wow, it really works! It got rid of all kinds of pop ups and unwanted crp! It even stopped some ransom wear that kept trying to attack me. It been 3 months now.
- Why are there so many spam adverts all of a sudden? In the last couple minutes, loads of those spam ads have appeared around all the websites I'm on, like Facebook, twitter, Google and this website. The ads are like how to lose weight in 5 mins, chat requests, and the games like shooting the iPhone. Happened really suddenly and wanna know if there's a way to get rid of it or if its a virus or something, thanks! Pop-up ads are and have always been disabled!
- What should you do when you receive a spam text message? Just received a text message from someone pretending to be DFS about an order I never ordered. The funny thing is when you go into the information on my iPhone; no phone number shows up. I contacted Three Mobile and they say they can't detect what activity goes on; on my phone. They recommended that I just ignore the sender. I've also blocked the sender; because the iPhone allows you to do that.
- Spam Text Messages - What to do? I just got a few text messages from an unknown email address with a link advertising "Badoo." I have no idea who the email address even belongs to. I have an iPhone, so I could tell the sender sent it to multiple numbers. I deleted the conversation before opening the messages or opening the link. What can I do if this continues to happen? If I did open the messages, could my iPhone get a virus? What could happen if anything?
- Spam message from twitter opened on iphone, should I be concerned? I received a direct message on twitter that was the usual spam trying to get me to click on a link. Normally I never open these and delete them but thanks to the notifications setting it opened the message directly but thankfully not the link. Should I be concerned of any possible infection from this?
