Spam message from twitter opened on iphone, should I be concerned?
I received a direct message on twitter that was the usual spam trying to get me to click on a link.
Normally I never open these and delete them but thanks to the notifications setting it opened the message directly but thankfully not the link.
Should I be concerned of any possible infection from this?
No, you should not be concerned.
If it is spam, you can report this user or unfollow. Only user following you can send direct messages.
Just unfollow it because it is spam.
- What should you do when you receive a spam text message? Just received a text message from someone pretending to be DFS about an order I never ordered. The funny thing is when you go into the information on my iPhone; no phone number shows up. I contacted Three Mobile and they say they can't detect what activity goes on; on my phone. They recommended that I just ignore the sender. I've also blocked the sender; because the iPhone allows you to do that.
- What does this mean and should I be concerned? I was watching YouTube on my iPhone when I randomly got this message. "A server with the specified hostname could not be found." I googled this and found that people who've gotten this message were trying to set up "mountain lion servers". I have no idea what those are and have never done anything like that on my iPhone, does this mean my phone could've been hacked or something? (I have not jailbroken my phone if that makes any difference) What should I do?
- Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?
- Is there any apps to see when your phone has been opened and what apps where opened when? (On IPhone)? So my friends have been snooping on my I phone 6 and close out all the apps they have gone on afterwards. I don't mind them snooping because I have nothing I don't mind them seeing but I want to be able to see what apps they opened. Is there any apps to see when your phone has been opened and what apps where opened?
