How do i switch my photos/contacts from my iphone 5c to my new iphone 6s?

I logged in my icloud account on my new phone but nothing has switched.

If icloud does not work, then use an app to save your contacts on old phone, then open the app in the new phone, and download contacts.

Do you have backup on iCloud? If not, backup your iPhone 5C on iTunes and then restore that on your iPhone 6S, you'll have everything on your new phone.

  • Would I be able to switch carriers without having to switch phones? I'm with Consumer Cellular and I have an iPhone SE, but I'm thinking of switching carriers so that I can get unlimited data. I don't want to get a new phone because I've had my current one about six months, I really like it, and it works great. I'm not locked into a contract with Consumer Cellular. Would I be able to switch to another carrier without having to purchase a new phone?
  • Unknown contacts and photos appearing in my new iphone? I just bought a 5s on amazon. The phone came in new, sealed, and obviously no signs of use. When I turned the phone on and insert the sim card, it only asked me to setup the Wi-Fi and activated the phone. Then I found lots of preinstalled apps, a bunch of unknown contacts, and lots of pictures (most of them were from 2015!). What the funk happened? I'm an android guy and ios is new to me… Please help!
  • Switch contacts from droid to iPhone? I'm getting an iPhone later this week and I just want to make sure I'm able to switch my contacts. I read that you have to save them to your google account but I don't know how to do that (I've been saving them to backup assistant). Can anybody help?
  • I've restored my iPhone 6s plus to factory settings, and set up as a new phone but my photos and contacts are still there? I'm trying to get it out of stuck in headphones mode, I've tried everything else, so the man in Apple shop. Said to restore it to a brand new phone, which I have done but my photos are still there and my contacts, texts and music have gone though?
