How to transfer music from my iPod to my iPhone?

So I have an iPod Nano 5th gen. That I have all my music on, but I just recently purchased an iPhone and I want to transfer the music. The iPod has like 1000 songs but I have a "favorites" playlist that I want on my iPhone. How can I make this transfer? Because the playlist folder won't show up on itunes unless the iPod is plugged in… And I can't plug them both in at the same time.
