How to turn music sharing off on iTunes?
So I have an iPod and I listen to music my dad doesn't like. And whenever I download it he deletes it, from his iphone, which deletes from my iPod. So I download it again and it gets annoying. We share the same iTunes account but we have different taste in music. How do I turn that iCloud thing off? The music sharing part of it. Because before it was invented I didn't have this problem. Now I do!
Well if you are buying the music from the iTunes store, I wouldn't. It's a waste of money and there are many LEAGAL apps that let you download free MP3 files. You can download the app from the iPhone/iPod application store.
Anyways if you still want to buy the music; to turn off automatic downloading on the device:
1) Go to Settings 2) iTunes & App Store 3) Turn off automatic downloads
- Sharing my iTunes songs with another iPhone? I have an iPod and I have my iTunes set up on my laptop with all my songs and such. A friend of mine has an iPhone and has an account for his phone but hasn't set up iTunes for music. He has an account for his iPhone but just doesn't have music. Can he hook his iPhone up to my computer to share some of my music with him? Or will I lose my music and will things get messed up? How would we go about it, if its possible?
- Sharing music on different Apple IDs? My younger sister just got an iPhone and set up her own Apple ID for it so she can have her own messenger and that kind of thing. She has no music on it though, and wants to share music with me. The problem is, she has no computer of her own, so I don't know how to homeshare with her. All of the computers in our house are already associated with Apple IDs and don't allow her to have her own account on them. Any advice?
- Sharing iTunes Between Multiple Devices? So I've had an iPod for the last several years and now my parents and I are getting our first batch of iPhones. All of my music in my library has been kept on one computer and the computer is getting old. I was wondering if we all 3 make new iTunes accounts, can we all 3 still get certain songs off of the main computer? All commments are welcomed!
- How can I take my phone off of Find My iPhone without completely removing it from family sharing? I'm going to college soon and I'd really hate for my mom to be worried about me and seeing me in bars n stuff like that.
