Sharing iTunes Between Multiple Devices?

So I've had an iPod for the last several years and now my parents and I are getting our first batch of iPhones. All of my music in my library has been kept on one computer and the computer is getting old. I was wondering if we all 3 make new iTunes accounts, can we all 3 still get certain songs off of the main computer? All commments are welcomed!

The only thing I've done is had multiple devices on a single Apple ID account, with the same songs, on the same computer. When you do that you can choose to sync different playlists, songs or albums to different devices, so you don't have to put All of your songs on every device (but you can do that if you want).

I'm sure there are other options too, but I haven't tried them or needed them.

You should copy those music files to CDR or flash drive. If your computer crashes, you'll probably lose all your music - unless you can copy music FROM your iPod. Your iPod or iPhone isn't really designed to do that with music that isn't purchased on iTunes.
