How do transfer my old SMS history from my iphone 4 to iphone 5?
I have just received delivery of my iphone 5 and i want to transfer all my old SMS/imessage to my new phone/ is there a simple way of doing this?
When you activated the new iphone itunes should have asked if you want to transfer the backup to the new phone. If itunes didn't then dock the new iphone but be sure to disable automatic sync (itunes preferences/devices) and itunes will see the iphone and you can restore the backup to the new iphone.
