How to get warranty for your product if you buy a gadget online?
A lot of products are sold online especially the gadgets like ipad, iphone, cameras, laptops, etc.
but do you have warranty for those products? What if something happens with your gadget after 1 month from the date of purchase?
Do they offer warranty for their products online? Most of them are not from the company itself, they are just selling brand new products online.
I'm thinking it depends what it is. On some websites like take lenovo for example you can buy extended warrenty on their website.
Warranties are nearly always covered by the manufacturer, not the seller of the item. There are a few exceptions where you return the item to the place you purchased it, but not too often. You just contact the manufacturer and get instructions from them for returning a defective product for repair or replacement. They usually have an 800 number for this service. The one place you must be very wary of buying products that may not include a manufacturers warranty is eBay! Some eBay sellers buy huge quantities of manufacturers overruns, so the product may have been manufactured a couple of years ago and there are no replacement parts for repair available. The unscrupulous sellers even advertise a "Full manufacturers Warranty" in their add, and then you find out from the manufacturer when there's a problem that you now own a piece of junk that will cost 75% of the price of new model to repair IF it can be repaired. If the item I want is available locally, that's where I buy it! It may be worth an extra $20 to have some peace of mind!
- Which gadget is the best should i buy? I only have enough money to buy these stuff. -iPad mini -iPhone 4s -Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0.so help me coz I'll buy one these later (so xcited) which is better and why?
- What would you do if you were watching your favorite show, and your 20 year old kid turned off the TV so that you couldn't watch it? I pay all the bills at the house. I normally watch AHS once a week with my kid. This week, she told me to go watch it in my own room. I told her my TV wasn't working and we would just have to watch it in her room. She turned off the TV so that I couldn't watch it. Then, she pompously pulled out her iPhone and proceeded to watch it on her iPhone. What would you do if this happened to you?
- What was the last neat gadget you bought? Ya ya that's nice. I hope it makes you lose weight. Eh herm… I just bought the Kangaroo PC! I love this thing! It's a Windows 10 desktop computer about the size of an iPhone. What's so neat about it? I can use it as a standalone home entertainment system instead of using a Roku, Apple TV or Fire TV… And since it's windows, YOU CAN BROWSE THE WEB AND WATCH ANY ONLINE VIDEOS. Roku, Apple TV and Fire TV don't have web browsers. And the Kangaroo PC is only $99.
- What's the difference from an OEM product and an original product? I need a new charger for my iPhone and I don't know if I should go buy an OEM charger from eBay or go buy an actual apple charger from Walmart that's going to be way more expensive. Since OEM is basically the same thing without retail packaging, would there be a difference in quality?
