How to transfer apps to your itouch?
Are there any ways to move apps to your ipod touch/iphone besides syncing the apps directly through the itunes library? Because alot of my apps on my itouch are not on my itunes library yet, and i don't want to lose those apps. If there's also a way to move those apps to the itunes library can someone please tell me? I'd really appreciate it.
1) Go preferences>Advanced on iTunes. Make sure "keep iTunes folder organized is checked."
2) Note the folder location of the iTunes media folder, and go find it.
3) Find the Mobile Applications folder inside that
4) Copy this folder to a flash drive or some other storage medium. The folder might be quite large, depending on how many apps you have. Mine is 8.4 GB with about 350 applications.
5) Make sure iTunes is installed on the new computer.
6) Plug flash drive into new computer.
7) In iTunes, go File>Add to Library. Navigate to your flash drive and select all the contents of that folder.
Now all your Apps are on the new computer. Unfortunately, the App data (such as saved games) will not make it.
Well dear, as far as I know, iTunes only can sync data from computer iTunes to apple models like iPad, iPod, iPhone, it is so hard to transfer data from device to iTunes library via iTunes. Have you ever done that successfully just using iTunes?
For me, I generally use a app called iTransfer to transfer data between iTunes and iOS devices without any limitation. Perhaps you can use iTransfer as a keyword to search in google to find a good app and what i use is leawo iTransfer.
- What's the difference between iTouch 4G and iPhone 4S? Except the calling feature, Siri, and the A5 chip for the 4S, I think both are the same, and both have the same features.Am I right? But the design of the iTouch is way better IMO. Please reply, I'm planning to buy the Samsung Galaxy S3, but I'm confused, so I thought if I get an iTouch, I'd also get a replica device of iPhone 4S.
- Verizon-no unlimited-will texting a iTouch with iMessage cost me? I'm So CONFUSED… i have the iPhone 4 on Verizon and i use iMessage and regular SMS. I have no unlimited texting WHICH MEANS i can text any Verizon phone for free but if i text any other carrier it is pulled into my 500 count. SO if i text an iPod Touch user that uses iMessage will it get pulled into my 500 count? Cuz the iPod Touches don't have a carrier… So i don't know what to think.
- How to put my apps and music from my itouch 4 to my iphone 4s? I have an itouch 4 and all my paid music from itunes and apps (some cost money and the rest were free) are on it and I want to put all of it onto my iphone. What do I do? Can I still use the same apple account I use on itunes or can you not use both devices in one account? If I sync my itouch 4 on my computer and then unplug it and plug it into my iphone and sync it, will everything on my itunes account on my computer sync onto my iphone?
- How to install a non-compatible iPhone app on iTouch? I downloaded an app which only works on the iPhone (and iPad) and not the iTouch. Is it possible to somehow change it so that it can install on the iTouch? I really want to play it (it's a game) but there's no way I'm gonna go out and buy one of those just so I can play it.
