How does a 4g AT&T plan work?
Okay, so my dad got my mom a an iPhone 5 because her other phone was literally falling apart. After getting the phone my mom uses it for like a week and we all get mad at each other for disagreeing on how the plan works. From what they told me she got a 4GB plan meaning that she can only download 4GB worth of stuff, right? I'm positive that's how it works but I got some questions:
-Does watching Youtube affect the plan?
-Does using Facebook A LOT affect it?
That's pretty much all they do on the phone yet she already used up 65% of the space available, The phone also says she has received 6.5GB of data and sent 492MB, that's more than 4. Did they confuse 4g with 4GB?
Not so much facebook but if you watch youtube it will eat it up quickly so use Wi-Fi
- Will my AT&T plan for my iphone work in Hawaii as it does in California? I'm going on a short trip to Hawaii and I was wondering if there would be roaming or long distance fees when I'm in Hawaii? Or will the plan / cell usage be the same as it is when I'm at home (in California)?
- How does virgin mobile Beyond Talk iphone plan work? On the website it wants me to buy an iphone for $550. Could I buy a virgin mobile iphone lets say on ebay and then go online and activate it that way so it'll be cheaper?
- How does this Share Data plan work in Verizon? Ok so I bought 3 iPhone 4 and 1 Samsung Galaxy Nexus and I got the 2GB data plan. The 2GB is with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I found out is a shared data so that means the other iPhones can Use my Internet. But I don't want them to use my Internet. How do they use my Internet. Do they just go into the Internet and use or do I have to turn on my hotspot for them to use it or how?
- How does the verizon share everything plan work? Okay so i Really want a smart phone but its really expensive. But i was talking to one of my friends today, and she said she had this share everything plan with her and her familys iphone 5 and she only has to pay 20 dollars a month for her phone. She has a 16 gb iphone 5 and i don't know how it works now. Because my dad said that it would cost more to have a share everything plan. I'm so confused.
