How does it feel to be a teenager in this day in age with social media?

I wish I could be a teenager for one day. Just to see what it would be like to grow up in an age of all technology such as internet, cell phones and social media. Most none of us grew up with any of this. My daughter is in the first generation of this era and I sometimes look at her and wish I could know what it feels like to have all of this as a teen, (could you imagine how different it would be?) but the truth is that I never will and that makes me sad and kind of envious of her and it also makes me sad she'll never know what it was like to not have all that technology. Dual emotions going on at the same time.

This questions goes to EVERYBODY. Young or old. To the older generation, what do you think it's like?

I'm 28 so i actually grew up when most people still had dial up. I clearly remember windows 95 and even DOS. Honestly, social media kind of sucks, just causes drama in my experience, but instant messengers are great. I can keep in touch with distant friends and relatives. I'm kinda nostalgic about old pc games, my snes and N64.

I'm older, I would go nuts if I engaged in all the social media of some young people.talk about chained to technology.

The guy who broke the 100 metre sprint in 1901 will have had the same happiness as the guy who broke the record in 2001. In other words, as we get more, we expect more and it takes more to make us happy. Todays kids will look back and remember the IPhone battery only lasting a day and say we were still happy even though it lasts a year now. The truth is, lifestyle changes, but happiness stays the same throughout the generations. We wouldn't be any happier going back or into the future once we got used to that way of living.

Well considering I was basically born into it, I don't think anything different. It's just the way it is. Although I would like to see what it's like to live in the 70s or something, with no internet or mobile phones.
