How does it work with paying with paying off an iphone completely when you first buy it?
Like if you bought an iphone 8 for example for $700 and paid all of that at once, how much would it be per month to have a plan? Like if you did a two year plan paying off the phone and paid $30 a month for example isn't that towards paying off the phone, so what if you already did?
If you buy the phone outright at the start, then all your monthly plan pays for is your calls, messaging (SMS & MMS) and data.
There's no fixed cost for that: it's a competitive market, the cost depends upon which exact allowances you choose each month, and whether you choose to agree to a minimum contractual term.
But if you're buying a $1000 phone and pay $800 up front for it, you effectively get a $200 loan with the repayments plus interest paid back in equal monthly installments over the contract term.
Obviously if you pay off the phone then you officially own it. You can check any of the plans online with the diff carriers to see what you would pay.
If you bought the phone outright/full price then usually people just swap the SIM into the new phone & continue with whatever plan they are on currently.
If you're paying it off over the course of a plan then yes that is paying off the phone over time.
- Why does my iPhone 6 keep Bluetoothing to my car even when I have Bluetooth turned completely off? Every time I get in my car, (2017 Toyota 4Runner) my phone automatically turns my Bluetooth on and connects to the car and it pisses me off. How do I make it stop doing this?
- When you Block Caller on iPhone, does it completely block them or do they show up as Unknown? I routinely "Block Caller" telemarketers, so does using the iPhone "Block Caller" option block all calls, or will the calls still come through and just show up as "Unknown"? I've received a lot of "Unknown" phone calls lately, so that's what I was attributing it to.
- Should I completely drain my iPhone 5c's battery before first charge? I've just got my brand new iPhone 5c today and it came with about 90% battery when I first turned it on. I'm now on it and it has 55% charge. I'm wondering wether I should drain the battery to 0% then fully recharge it to 100%, that's what used to be recommended but I'm not sure if you still have to do it. Will you please let me know what I should do. I will get to sleep in around 2 hours, FYI.
- My IPhone works completely fine sometimes but a lot of times I can't use it and it's completely unresponsive to my touch? I scheduled an appointment to fix my very cracked screen and I was just wondering if this will fix my problem for sure or is there something else that may be causeing the screen to be unresponsive?
