How does Verizon's 2 year contract work with Asurion insurance?
I was just wondering. I have a 2 year contract with Verizon which started mid 2012. I have an iPhone 4S and got it replaced last November using my Asurion insurance. Does my two year contract continue? Or does it start over because I got my phone replaced by a new iPhone 4S? I want to upgrade to an iPhone 5 soon.
Our replacements do not impact your ability to upgrade, nor do they extend your contract with your carrier. Your carrier should be able to confirm when you are eligible for an upgrade. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
