How does Wi-Fi work while i'm in another country?
Ok i'm going to argentina for 10 days. I have a sprint iphone 4s. I got an international phone for calls. But will i be able to use my apps and search the internet? If there's Wi-Fi will i be able to use all my apps? For example, i have a texting app, would i be able to use that to text and not get charged?
The phone service should work fine. The Wi-Fi should also work. You may or may not get charged for that texting app
Don't use internet if there's no Wi-Fi spot. It is very expensive. If you want to use a Wi-Fi spot if its there, you go to your setting and change the Wi-Fi address.
- Will my Iphone 5 work in another country? I'm planning on going to America and need to use my phone. I won't be needing it to call people, just to browse the web and to listen to music. My phone IS unlocked. Will I need to change the sim or get a sim from America? I'm from Australia btw.
- When in a contract, can I get a different SIM while in another country? I'm going to china in 15 days and I want an IPhone so I can take pictures and have data while I'm there. I'm staying for an entire month. Getting this IPhone (with either sprint or T-mobile) with put me in a 2 year contract. Will I be able to use my phone while I'm there with the new SIM card I'm buying in China. I heard that my phone will be locked while I'm out of the country or something.
- What does an iphone need in order to work in another country? I'm sending an iphone 4s to brazil to a cousin and want to know if it will work there. Does it need to be unlocked or will an iphone with a clean esn work? Please let me know soon!
- On an iphone 5, How does one listen to youtube while on another web page? Atm I'm either stuck on the utube page or the vid stops playing. Please don't direct me to a utube vid, only tell me if you have an iPhone 5 and can do it. I've seen it done on the 4s. Detailed instructions appreciated Ty
