How good Sony Xperia is compared to other brands?

Everyone is only talking aboot iPhone and Samsung Galaxy even HTC but nobody talking aboot Sony Xperia. So tell me is there some Sony Xperia better than other brands but I don't know becouse I haven't seen any comercial? And how good sony xperia is compared to other brands?
PS I always favorised Sony Ericsson than all other brands.

Sony phones have never been standouts.

My friend has Sony Xperia P or S. I'm not sure, and i have A SGS3. However, i tried using his phone once, i was really impressed by the external design and the camera is seriously breathtaking but still i wouldn't trade it to my S3. I didn't like the UI design. But wait for the new xPeria it's gonna be water & sand resistant, this phone just might change my mind about xperia phones o. O

It's my personal experience: i've used 22 mobiles in my life(most of them are nokia & samsung) but my last 4 mobiles were sony and still i'm using sony v with my galaxy tab.
I accendently purchased sony but when i used it then seriously i'l get addicted to sony mobiles.sony mobiles have unique interface and stunning camera picture quality.
The clarity of videos and what can i say about the screen which they use, which is powered with bravia mobile engine(out of this world).i'm an addictor of sony's picture quality and whenever i use sony mobile among others it feels good. Sony provides a luxurious feeling to it's customer. I've used galaxy s3, note, lumia but these phones are not able to provide uniqueness to me but sony mobiles are more than a device to me.
Now sony launched it's xperia z in some places which consist HDR technology in its camera which is never used by any company in their smartphones yet, this technology makes any person get addicted to sony's picture quality.
