How is the iPhone 5 so light?
How the hell can they make it this light?! It feels like a feather and the 4s feels like a brick'
Booo android all the way!
Newer technologies offer lighter and thinner integrated circuits, the weight is also more evenly distributed due to it being thinner and wider.
Thats digetell electronics that deals with micro printed circuits. Digetel electronis is low current or 5volts is on and 0 is off. The 5volts is on and 0 is off for each little circuit. Micro digetel electronics is same concept but micro amps. The transisters and diodes, resisters are printed into the circuit. Each micro circuit perfomds a specific task depending on what needs to be done. Its all figured out using Boolean Algebra. Any scientific calculator could figure out what needs to be drawn in the micro circuit. Micro circuits are very low weight. There are other low weight reasons with new stronger light weight materials being used for the casing. Modern electronics has improved a great deal from the days of the old heavy tube tvs.
This may be only redeeming feature that the IP5 can boast the rest more than cancels it out.
1) Everyone recommends the IP5 and NEVER mentions the price. IPhone prices / tariffs on any all networks defy logic and gravity
2) Slick advertising does NOT mention this
THREE as "3" was just too short note merit)
The Samsung Galaxy S II (2)was released in MAY 2011 & has 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor with an 8Mp camera.
18 months later November 2012 Apple puts a 12Ghz Dual Core processor & 8Mp camera in a phone and call it the IP5
4) iPhones play catch up what is on an iPhone came out months before on other makes.Eg the iPhone4 was the FIRST iPhone to have a camera flash yeah 2010.
A total of 9 things are missing as All IPHONES do NOT have BLUETOOTH MEDIA TRANSFER! So NO sharing SGS II 9 MORE, SGS III 9 MORE S IV 9 MORE,
The IP5S released anytime within the next 3 to 4 months it being an S will be a tweak so still Dual Core IMO the other IP5S will NOT surpass the BB Z10
Returning to the question light good HEAVY BAD.
The Lumia 920 is a Nokia version (a whole lot better!) iPhone but at 190+ gm was possibly one of the heaviest non keyboard smart phone, its weight was a turnoff
Nokia have learnt the lesson with 928 which is same specs & SIZE as the 920 but weighs 140gm, that is IP4 / IP4S ballpark and just 1.5gm more than the Z10
140 gm is about right to give a phone strength any less is to make it more fragile.
The IP5 is a lightweigh in both mass & specs
Its one of the things I love about the iphone, they are the best at designing hardware and it fits very easily in and out of the pocket. Its also the reason why they can make the battery so much smaller but yet get as much power as those other cellphones that try to attach a car battery to it.
- Why is there a glowing red light in my iPhone 5's front camera? I never noticed it before but last night I was texting and I saw my front camera glowing red and its freaking me out! My boyfriend has the iPhone 5 too and his doesn't have that and I tried to look it up but there's nothing what do you guys think it could be? It glows pretty bright and blinks sometimes.
- Screen on my iPhone is black and won't light up I dropped my iPhone but I have an otter box so it didn't crack. However, the screen is now black and won't light up. I can hear when I get texts and calls but i just can't see. Its happened before and the guy says it was just some connection problem. Any way i can fix this without having to take it in?
- Light on my iphone won't turn off? The light on my iphone doesn't turn off when i'm on the phone. I've turned it off several times and the problem persists, how can i fix this?
- Background light on my iphone won't work I'm not sure if its called the background light, its like the light for when you turn on your phone all of that.okay so i dropped it a little and then i tried to turn it on and it won't work but the sound works like i've gotten texts and calls and i can hear them just the light won't go on
