How long can i use the internet for if i only have 250MB?

I've just been given a new contract. I'm just wondering how long i can spend on the internet a day with 250MB? I also have another question. I have an iphone and if you press the home button twice it comes up with all the apps that are still running. Does this mean its using up all my mega bites (MB) still or is it just there to drain your battery?

It really does depend on the websites you visit. If you wanna youtube a lot 250mb will vanish after a few vids. About the apps just make sure you disable auto updates or your asking for it.

Its almost impossible to convert the 250MB into "time" you can spend online as it really varies on what you are looking at.

Yes, any app's in the task bar (pressing home twice) are still running and therefore would still be using an internet connection (although it would be a minimal amount of data being used)
