How long until I get my money on PayPal?
I just sold an iPhone 7 on eBay for $360 and in total I got $354 but on PayPal, it says that the money is pending. How long do I have to wait? This is my first time selling.
Since its your first time, you usually have to wait about a week after the item is confirmed to have been delivered. Once you've sold x amount of items and shipped them in time (I don't remember how many), you get access to the money immediately when the payment is made.
And also, remember that eBay will take 10% the selling price + 10% of the shipping price. So, they will charge you $36 as a final value fee and a 10% final value fee for shipping (if you charged the buyer for that). They won't charge you right away. Rather, they will put the charges on your account and you'll need to pay for it usually by the end of the month. They'll send you a statement to your e-mail account. Paypal also charges you 2.9% + .30 of whatever you make.
Until the buyer leaves you positive feedback and the item shows delivered.
- When will PayPal send my money into my account? I've just sold an iPhone over PayPal, I've sent the item this morning, along with the tracking code, and it's on it's way. PayPal said that the funds will be in my account in the next 21 days and that it's pending, due to safety issues. Can that person reverse the payment? I'm worried that I won't get my cash, and they will be left with the item and money and I'll get nothing, the phone was quite expensive.

- Is it safe to sell iphone on Craiglist and let the buyer wire the money from Paypal? One guys found my listing on Craiglist and wanted to wire me the money and then I ship him the phone. Is there any way for him to take the money back from my paypal? We're not doing thru Ebay because ebay charges me a ton for selling it.
