How long will a iPhone 8+ last?
5-10 years
Get the iPhone XS Max. I have it, and I upgrade yearly.
A dollar 280.
Past the point of support from Apple, which could be about 6 years.
As long ad is taken care of, has no hardware defects or acquires any due to damage, it can last 5 to 20 years past being support by either Apple or carriers should they move to newer and different technologies, that no longer supports the phone. Much like all the still working analog cell phones. They still power on, but none of the carrier support analog cell service any longer.

If it doesn't explode then maybe 10-15 years?
5-8 years I'd say.
I've had mine for about a year now and it works perfectly!
It will last long, I've been using an iPhone 5s for 5 years now and it still works good.
- Why does the last percentage of my iphone battery takes so long to charge? I have noticed that the very first percentages (1-20) of the iphone battery charges very quickly, but when it comes to the last percentage (99-100) it takes like 15 minutes to charge!
- Why do Iphone chargers (especially iphone 5) not last very long? I can never keep a charger more than a couple months without it breaking or ceasing functionality. It doesn't matter if I'm using the charger mostly in the office, in my car, at home, etc. Is this a scheme by manufacturers to keep charger revenue flowing or is this the universe's way of telling me I use my phone too much?
- How long will an iphone 5 or Any iPhone Last? Not battery consumption --The phone itself, in a lifetime… If it's taken care of very well, and not Stolen, dropped or battery replacements?
- How long should iphone 3gs battery life last? My one only lasts about 3.6 hours constant on 3G is this normal? I bought it of ebay, should i send it back?
