How many gigabytes does one and a half hours of iPhone video footage take up?

Hi, I'm going to a concert soon and I want to film most of it on my iPhone. I need to know how much gigabytes an hour and a half of footage would take up on one.

High definition video will typically take up about 0.2 GB per minute, so 90 minutes would require around 18 GB of storage. But it depends on the app, the settings and other factors, because many different levels of compression can be used.

200mb per minute at 1080p 60fps approximately.

If you have a 6s and take it in 4K it'll use up more. To decide the quality and have an idea of the size it'll take up, go to settings/photos and camera and select the quality and fps of the video. The more fps, the more smoother the video will look. After you decide which one, multiply by 90 and divide by 1024 to know how many gb it'll take up. For example at 1080p 60fps it'll be approximately 17.57gb, but it'll vary on the colors and stuff you'll record, it's just an approximation.

  • Why does restoring my iphone from a backup use up so many gigabytes? I have an iphone 5 and I'm trying to restore my phone from last backup. Unfortunately, the back up is cancelled about 30 minutes in because my hard disk runs out of space. I have 10 gigs left so there should be any problem with that. I went to mobilesync folder and then to the backup folder and there's one folder there. Once you click on that folder there are thousands of files in that folder that have several modified dates on them. Basically can I just delete the old dated files?
  • Is it normal for an Iphone 5c to be at 10% after four hours and a half? From 100… My charger messed up so i bought a new one but now my phone battery has been dying very fast i don't have a lot of apps and shut off somethings i saw as tips to save battery.
  • How to save my baby daughter's video footage, and what to store on? My husband put all the videos from my iPhone to folders on my desktop, and I want to save all the photos and videos onto backup discs. What type should I use for the video files, and what type for the photos? I want to save them separately? Also, every video is rotated so that the image is sideways. Will I need to fix this? How do I do it? I put one on Youtube and it isn't sideways anymore. Thanks! I just really don't want to lose these files.
  • How many Megabytes or Gigabytes do i get with unlimited data on a contract? I want to go on this monthly contract plan: http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/...4m/extras/ It says i have unlimited data but i have been told that it isn't actually unlimited? If so how much data do i get? And is it possible to cap my spend on this plan so i can't go over my contract?
