How much data does it take up of streaming a 40 minute YouTube video on an iPhone?
I don't know is this matters but I have an iPhone 6s, and my phone service is AT&T.
You so lucky! I only have an iPhone 6 Plus
Impossible for us to know as it depends on the quality of the stream and many other variables such as amount of movement on screen and how much audio is playing throughout the video.
Watching videos on Youtube usually eats up lots of data especially in HD quality
UPDATE: It's just and audio book for English and there's no movement the audio book is on YouTube and I like listening to audio books while I'm reading the book, i get 15GB of data a month but I do use my phone while I'm in the car and on the bus to look at Snapchat, Twiter, Instagram, and musically, but I only use YouTube if I have Wi-Fi but my school Wi-Fi doesn't work on YouTube so yeah
- Would downloading and streaming while Wi-Fi is on still take up cellular data? I turned cellular data off on my iPhone and turned on Wi-Fi. I'm allowed 7GB of data each month and the cell carrier told me not to make and big downloads or stream videos or it will slow my internet down. If I do these things while Wi-Fi is on, would I still be using up the 7GB? Or can I download and stream freely like I did with my iPod?
- Why is iMovie taking FOREVER to export a five minute video? Please, I really really really need an answer As soon as possible of how to fix this or how long it's going to take. I'm trying to export a five and a half minute long video to youtube from my iphone 5 and it's taking so long. How long do you expect it to take on a medium file size?
- Why does it take so long to buffer a YouTube video on my iPhone? I have an iPhone 4 and my Wi-Fi is very slow for buffering videos of every kind as it takes like 10 mins to buffer a 2 min video and it doesn't do this at friends houses and T's only on ios devices here at my house tht have that trouble. Any way I can make my Wi-Fi faster?
