How much data does this use?
I want to get an iPhone and I'm really big on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube etc. So I want to know how much data I should get. How much data do these apps use?
Instagram and Twitter usually don't use too much data, unless you upload pictures of every meal, every step you take, and every thing else. As for Youtube, video uses a lot of data, but If you maybe watch three or four videos every few nights, a photo or two on Instagram every two or three days, and use twitter on a regular basis, then the standard 3GB plan should suffice. If you are mad addicted to Instagram, Twitter and Youtube, then you might want to consider the 5GB plan (typically $50 a month). If you go beyond that, then you typically are charged $10 for each additional GB after that. Don't forget gov't fees and taxes that are attached to it!
- Why does my iphone use So MUCH data? I run an iphone 5 on verizon and my data plan is either 4 or 5 gigs per month but i'm consistently over by A LOT, in december it says i used 13 gigs, and i have no idea how thats possible, i may have watched 2 or 3 netflix episodes, and i check facebook and instagram regularly, but other than that i don't use much data, how is my usage so dang high?
- Why does my iphone use data over night when cellular data is turned off? Every night I turn off cellular data and leave the iPhone on and one day I wake up and check my data manager and see i have already used 25 MB please help!
