I'm possibly getting the iPhone 4 from Verizon with the 2 year contract. How much does it cost to own it per month? My dad says it is 60 dollars per month… Also, what plan should I get?

I think its free for verizon with $30 a month but i suggest getting the motorola droid razr, for me its better
As the iPhone 4 is antiquated and outdated most carriers give it away for free with a contract. Without one you can buy them for about $50 from people that have already upgraded. The iPhone has two newer generations since the 4.
So the cost of your plan would depend on the carrier. As you don't state where you live we can't look online for the best price in your area for you.
If you want a better phone that is faster and does more get a Samsung Galaxy S series phone. The iPhone 4 is only 3G the galaxy 2 and newer are 4g which means it faster and if you need more memory you can easily add it. You can't with iPhones. Apple makes you buy a new phone if you want more memory.
Apple products also have lots of restrictions that androids don't have.
