How much does it cost to get an iPhone 4 Wi-Fi chip replaced?
I just bought an iPhone 4 second hand and just found out that the Wi-Fi chip is old and needing replacing, but the warranty expired in February. Around how much would this cost?
The chip can't be replaced. It would be cheaper to replace the entire phone.

- When my iPhone 6 screen is replaced by apple, will the home button be replaced as well? Ever since I updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 6, the home button has been totally unresponsive. On top of this, my phone was recently stepped on and the screen was shattered. I plan on paying the $109 to have the screen replaced from apple, but does that replace the home button too? I've heard that when the front screen panel is replaced, so is the home button/touch id.

When I called the local apple store they said it could be anywhere from $150-220 to fix. Is there ANYWAY I might be able to get it fixed for free or extremely discounted? A workaround in the warranty (which I do have, it expires in sept) or some way they can write it up in the store?
- How much would it cost to repair a chip on my iphone 4? I'm asking about the plastic part (i think its plastic) which surrounds the end of the phone next to the metal band. I'm NOT referring to the glass or stainless steel metal. I was changing the cover and stupid thing chipped my phone, its a small chip, not even a centimeter long, but it still annoys me. Any help?
