How much does it cost to replace a water damaged iphone if you have insurance on it?
I have an iPhone 5 with Verizon. I got it water damaged, and it doesn't work. I have insurance on the phone and I still have warranty on it. How much would it cost to replace the phone with a new one?
Nothing just call up Verizon tell them what happen. They will send you another iphone 5 brand new (as long as you have insurance). With the shipping label that will come with the new phone, send back the old one.problem solved: P

i have an insurance policy with at&t where i pay $10 a month and if anything should happen i pay $200 up front and can get a new phone anytime.
apple, on the other hand, has a very expensive insurance policy i have heard of with which you can you get your iphone replaced at the store for nothing, for almost all extents and purposes.
warranty, however, is differnt from insurance, and apple provides 1 year of free warranty with all newly purchased apple products.
this includes a one time free bee.
one time, they will allow you get a free replacement for your iphone should any physical damage should occur, free of charge.

- Water damaged iphone (insurance claim)? I filed a claim with Asurion through verizon, I was required to pay 169$ for a replacement phone. the problem is that troubles me is that the only problem with the phone is that after it dropped in the water, the screen has a drip mark that won't go away, it won't turn off and there are some tones that don't play.other than that it works fine. what I'm asking is if the claim is still legitamate. It's still noticeable damage, but is it claim worthy noticeable damage?
