How much is the cheapest iPhone out there?

If you are getting a new contract the iphone 4 at best buy is free

The cheapest you will find in retail is the iPhone 4, which is a decent phone. Its only sold in it's 8 GB model
Contract - $0 for 8 GB
NO Contract - $450 for 8 GB

If you can buy on eBay or amazon (non retail) you can find a NO CONTRACT iPhone 3GS for about $300

For a old version of a used iPhone, it'll cost about $200 depending on the condition and where you get it from, but if you include the plans, it'll cost a lot more though.

Are you talking brand new? Used? On contract? Off contract? Any particular model?

If you're going on contract, the iPhone 4 is the cheapest, and the iPhone 5 the most expensive. You can go on your carrier's website and see their prices (with a new 2 year agreement).

If you're buying brand new off contract, iPhone 4 is still cheapest and iPhone 5 most expensive. You can buy brand new through the carriers (look at the price without commitment, usually $400-$600) or you can buy it brand new and unlocked through Apple.

If you want used (but maybe still in great condition), you should definitely try eBay and Craigslist. They range from $200+ depending on the model (4, 4s, 5) and the condition of the phone and whether or not it's locked to a carrier or unlocked.

Free on a 2 year contract. The iPhone 4.
