How much stuff can I have on my 16GB iPhone 5?
Ok so I'm getting an iPhone 5 for Christmas… And I was just curious to how much stuff I can store on it? E. G. How many pictures, videos, apps… And so on… BUT the iPhone I'm getting is 16GB (as I said before) and I already have 7GB worth of music that I will put on my iPhone…
SO my question is: How many pictures, videos and apps will I be able to store on it?
If you have 7 GB worth of music then I would recommend the 32 GB. I have the 32 and my music is less than 1 GB yet I still finished 8 GB in less than a week. But I'm a heavy app downloader and photographer. I have 100 apps now and I finished 8 GB. So that's a rough idea of how much you'll have.
I seriously recommend the 32 though, you might regret getting the 16.
About nine gigs
16gb is good for a few movies, a couple hundred songs, and more apps than youll ever need
For 16GB:
2750 songs (estimated at 3 minutes each) OR
32 Music Videos (estimated 45 Minutes each) OR
500 Photos (high quality) OR
250 Apps (on average)
Everything really depends on the size of the files. If you've put 7GB of music files on, more or less halve the figures I've given.
A 16gb can hold about 2000 songs, 30+ videos, hundreds of photos and 50+ apps. 16gb is enough for today's modern phones that needs to do so much. You may visit this page for best apps for iPhone: http://www.appfavour.com/ios/iphone
The 16gb iPhone won't actually be 16gb as it holds ios and all of the other stuff required to run the phone. My 32gb iPhone 5 sates I have 28.0 gb of space. This does vary after ios updates, I updated to ios 6.2 last night and my storage went up by.5 of a gb.
Also, I would compress your songs in iTunes, this will convert your songs to a lower bitrate halfing the space required.
The 16gb should be fine for you
About 13gb of it. Impossible to say how many of each given difference in quality and file sizes
- Will a 16GB iPhone 5 have 16GB of space? I want to get an iPhone 5 and the 16GB will suffice, however I'm concerned about the actual space. I have a 32GB iPod Touch but according to iTunes the maximum space available is 28.5GB. Could I expect this sort of thing to happen on the iPhone?
- My new 16gb iPhone 5s' storage doesn't equal 16gb? I bought a 16GB iPhone 5s and when i go to Settings > General > Usage, it says i used 2.3 GB and i have 10.6 GB available. And that would equal 12.9 GB. Shouldn't it equal 16GB?
- Is this too much stuff to have plugged into a one sarge protector? I have many technology plugged into my sarge protector. And I do not know whether or not it is just too much? One: Xbox one power cord One: xbox 360 power cord One: iphone charger One: Haier LC iPod music dock One: Roland SP 230 keyboard amp And one: Haier 17" LE24B TV A any given time I only have the tv and one of the Xbox and maybe the iphone charger being having been used
- Is a 16GB iPad mini enough space if I already have a 16GB iPhone 4s? So I'm in the market to get an iPad mini and I'm very hesitant to spend the $100 extra for 32gb since I already have a 16gb iPhone 4S.Am I correct in this thinking? And how could I allocate storage between the two devices if it is enough?
