How much will a 2000 mah battery pack recharge my iPhone 4?
I'm going on a trip soon, and I won't have access to chargers. I have an iPhone 4, and I'm thinking of buying a portable battery pack (2000 mah) how much will it fill the battery? Will it fill it 50%, or give it a full charge a few times?
You need to find out how many mah is the battery in the iPhone. Divide 2000 by that and that's how many charges you'll get. You already know how long a charge lasts, so imagine that many full charges. (There will be some cost for transferring the charge, I would guess maybe 10%).
IPhone 4's battery capacity is 1400 mAh. Then if you have a 2000mAh portable charger, then it will fully charge your iPhone and 600mAh will be left available in the charger. I guess that's a 40% of left juice

I'm seeing some that say 1900 mAh, 2000mAh 2500 mAh etc. I was wondering if anyone could explain what that is and which would be the best for an iPhone 4S with AWFUL battery? (It's at 100% before I go to work. It stays in my pocket for 6 hours and is down to 3%)
