I'm selling my iphone and the person buying it wants me to ship it to nigeria. They said they would pay for the shipping but how much does it cost to ship? Lets say i shipped it through ups
Becareful, it is probably a scam. I got scamed so many times selling there. They will send you a fake invoice. But prob $60
It's a scam. They will pay you with a hacked Paypal account and hope you ship off the phone before the real account holder realizes they were hacked
There's NO reason why anyone in Nigeria would be buying your phone when they could buy one locally cheaper
It's going to be at least $75-100 to ship through UPS.
If you are selling on Craigslist ONLY sell to people you can meet in person who pay cash. If selling on Ebay or Amazon ONLY ship to Paypal verfied addresses which can't be in NIgeria as Paypal prohibits all transactions with Nigeria due to high levels of fraud
This is a scam, and I find it difficult to believe that you don't see that. DO Not ship anything to Nigeria. You can't insure it, and the payment you 'receive' will either be a fake check or fake "PayPal" e-mail. And how are they paying for the Phone? I. Phones would be available in Nigeria but it sounds like that this person is not genuine. Just be careful.

An iPhone 4 in Nigeria is approx. $250-$300 USD. It's cheaper for them to buy here and have it sent over. Not everyone in the world is a scam artist, but that being said, make sure you have the $ before you send the phone.
