How much would it cost to ship an iphone internationally?
The iphone weighs about 4.8oz or 137 grams, I've used the rate calculators on Fedex, USPS, and UPS. The rates that Fedex and UPS gave back were ridiculous, am I entering in the information correctly? Oh, and I'm shipping it to Navarra, Spain. From Mesa, AZ. Would like some professional advice.
You would certainly want to be able to track and/or Insure such a high cost item. Priority Mail International or one of the Express Mail options would provide that for you.
The costs for the postage would be $35.00 or less for PMI.
First Class Mail International is a lot less expensive but, there i sno tracking, no insurance and no inquiry can be accepted in case of loss or damage.

I'm living in the Czech republic and want to avoid paying expensive importing costs, can I buy an iPhone off ebay and have it sent to a friend in america, and have them send it to me, but to avoid customs I could have them mark the phone as a gift, or I could have them put the value at 50$ for example and list the phone is broke?
