How safe would you say it is to send money by paypal for a purchase on gumtree?
Am trying to buy iphone 5s on gumtree and this guy wants to sell it, however since i'm in melbourne and he is in south australia i have to do bank transaction, i have decided to do the transaction using paypal since i have heard it is safer, however would you say it is safe to send the money and receive the iphone over postage or should i just let this one go?

If he has paypal then you can pay him by credit card on paypal, thats safest. At least thats what I would do.
