How to access router from SAFARI/IPHONE
I need to access 192.168.0.1 to change my routers settings, I'm logged into the Wi-Fi but typing that in just brings me to it as if i googled 192… How do i use safari to actually get into it, (i don't have a computer at the moment to use.)
Actually you can do it wirelessly try http://192.168.0.1 then it should treat it as a url and not as a search query.
You can't do it wirelessly. You have to have a cat5 ethernet cable connected up to it
I don't trust that IP address you're trying to use. Let's prove that you're using the correct IP. Go into your settings, Wi-Fi settings, and locate the info for your "Default Gateway." That's what your device thinks your router's IP address is. If it's different than what you've been trying -- oh well, now you know. If it's the same IP that you've been using -- then find a short length of Ethernet cable and connect a laptop to one of your router's LAN ports and try again, since something is affecting your Wi-Fi configuration ability.
- What's the difference between a cheap router and a good router? Just wanted to know the difference between a cheap router and an expensive router, I know that is a very broad question, I'm just a bit confused on how a router works. Does it increase my Internet speed on multiple devices? I get 50Mb per second, Well at least that's what I pay for. I have a PS3 two iPhones and a tablet, as well as a desktop PC that is wireless. Can anyone recommend an excellent router under $150
- Router only allows 1 device Internet access? I have a linksys router. Has worked fine for a while. Just got Internet back. Whatever device connects wirelessly to it first works perfectly fine. The next devices that attempt to connect to it get assigned the generic 192.168.1.1 ip and do not have access to the Internet. I have no computer, using iPhone and iPad to set this up. Dchp is on. I've reset it several times and tried. Changed the ip of the router, etc. I'm sorta technology illiterate, and need some help./

- My Iphone was hacked, and I no longer had access to safari. I then proceeded to reset my Iphone with an old update from a few months Keep in mind I have two icloud accounts. After doing so I then reset my phone with the second icloud account( as that was the only option). Having done so, does that mean everything that was on my phone has been deleted before I reset it, or do the hacker/s still have access to important information of mine?
