How to automatically block a call from a blocked/unknown number?

I have an iPhone 5 and I keep on getting calls and voicemails from a blocked #. My carrier is Verizon and I wanted to know if there was a way that the blocked calls would automatically go to voicemail or something else. I do not want to pay for Verizon's feature for $5.00 a month. If anyone knows of any application or settings which I could refer to to solve this problem I would appreciate it Thank you!

You can't block calls or texts. You are better off reporting those numbers for tracing.

  • When you Block Caller on iPhone, does it completely block them or do they show up as Unknown? I routinely "Block Caller" telemarketers, so does using the iPhone "Block Caller" option block all calls, or will the calls still come through and just show up as "Unknown"? I've received a lot of "Unknown" phone calls lately, so that's what I was attributing it to.
