Unknown iPhone passcode set by unknown person?
A passcode has been set on my iPhone without me knowing, now it is locked up. It says here to connect it to my computer and back up then restore my iPhone. Will this clear everything off my phone or will it be the same as it was before it got locked? I have only attempted unlocking it about 5 times in fear of disabling it. I do not want to back up then restore it if it will clear everything off and transfer it to the computer. Are there any alternatives to unlocking my iPhone?

No as long as you have everything backed up on iCloud or your computer it will be fine. So when you first restore your iPhone, it'll erase everything, but when you start up your phone it'll ask you if you want to set it up as a new device, or restore from (your iPhone name). You would select that, everything should stay the Same, although it may take a few minutes

My phone was stolen and I tracked it down with the police to this house and they had deleted everything off of my phone including my iCloud, they wouldn't give me the password to my phone so I don't know the passcode, how could I unlock it manually using my computer?
- Is there anyway I can bypass my passcode on my iPhone 4 or it's a 5 I'm not sure but I can't remember the passcode but I need it I know you can restore but I don't want to do that because I don't think I have the computer I backed it up to back then. And i don't know what update this is. Like I haven't see the emergency button there at all in any videos
- Iphone asking me for a passcode to install update. I never set up a passcode. Options? I just tried to update my iphone to 7.1.1 and i'm being asked for a passcode. I never set one up, but entered what I would have made it, and now have a message saying "FAILED. One more attempt". What happens if I get this final attempt wrong? How do I continue with update if I can't remember this passcode?
- IPhone 5 doesn't have a Passcode Lock option in the settings. How do I set a password? When I go to Settings, and then General, the only options available are Auto-Lock and Restrictions. I just got the phone today. What can I do?
