How to back up text messages on iphone?
I have an iPhone 5s I used up all the space my text messages are taking up eight gigs I don't want to Briegleb for sentimental reasons and for other reasons as well I want to find away to back them up to cloud server then be able to remote access them on my iPhone my phone as I please. Anyway would be well appreciated i'm looking for a freeway possible or as cheap as possible.
P.s My device is jailbroken so I could use a Cydia apps
Sign in to iCloud and just backup the entire phone. This will backup your text messages as well. This is probably the easiest way to back them up, but you could always just screenshot the important ones and upload them to iCloud or put them on your computer. Hope this helps.
When you backup in itunes it backs up all that.
- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- If I turn off push messages on my iphone 4 will I still get my regular text messages? I read that turning off push messages or setting them to manually helps save battery life. I want to know if I do this will I still be able to receive my regular text messages.
- If i back my iphone up on iTunes are my text messages saved as well? I ordered a new iphone offline because my new one has been acting crazy. My new one should be coming in a few days. My old iphone is backed up on my iTunes on my computer. So will all my texts, pictures, contacts be restored on my new iphone when i plug in up to my itunes?
