How to be a music producer and make music?
How to be a hip hop /pop music producer with acoustic guitar and iPhone 7 and Mac mini pc I'm wanting to make music but just for a hobby to post on Instagram and sound cloud
A good way (in my opinion) is with your computer, there's a software called "Vocaloid" where the character you download has their own voice and sings songs you create. It's really cool.

You have a computer.
You need a DAW - digital audio workstation program.
Tracktion is excellent and T6 is totally free:
Think of that a bit like a studio multi-track recorder, except as well as recording tracks or adding files/samples to them, you can add VSTs, virtual instruments and effects, such as a rhythm machine or sequencer to create a backing rhythm, or add revert to a vocal track etc.
If you want to use the guitar or sing, you need some way of getting good quality audio in to the program from your guitar / a microphone.
That's where you need to spend money; you need a decent USB Audio MIDI interface. Something like a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 or 2i4 is reasonable, you can get a good used one for around $100 on ebay.
One of those (with the DAW) will allow recording up to two channels of audio at once, eg. Guitar and mic, plus it has MIDI for such as a keyboard.
After recording or creating the first track, you can play that back [use headphones] while you play or sing along and record additional tracks, to build up the overall piece of music.
You need a microphone. You can get a basic electret type for around $15, a Neewer NW700 or BM800.
They are often sold with an XLR to 3.5mm cable; ignore that, they do not work properly. (You don't need one with a phantom power unit either). They will connect directly to a proper interface like the scarlett and work OK.
Not exactly ultimate quality but pretty good for $15.
If you want a good microphone, a Shure SM58 is excellent for conditions with background noise - they are intended for "live" use on stage and need to be just about touching your mouth.
Or, an MXL V67g if you have quiet conditions. They are true condenser mics.
Either will cost around $100.
You can build instrumental pieces purely by using samples and/or synthesised tracks. The demo files for tracktion have some examples of that.
My setup below
- What do I do if I want to turn off everything that can make my iPhone 4S make noise? I want to bring my cell phone into class with me, but last time I did that it started playing music and my friends Siri started working. I just want to bring it in class and not have to worry about having it start making noise and me getting ISS. Please* don't put down that I shouldn't be bringing my phone to class because I really have to. Anyway I want to know all the things I need to turn off in order for it not to make any noise at all.
- Lost my iPhone in my house- is there a way to make it make noise? I lost my iPhone in my house. After two hours of searching I'm about ready to give up. I started searching on the internet to see if there was any way to make my iPhone make noise or ring, even though I have it turned to silent/vibrate. I don't have any of those apps like MobileMe or anything like that. Any suggestions you tech geniuses?
- Is there and app to make an account to save photos and access them on another device? I have and iPhone 4 and I have to switch phones to an iPhone 4S and I need to find an app that I can make an account by email, where I can download and save all my photos and just download the app when I get my new phone and redownload all my photos.
- Is there a way I can make music on my iphone play and stop automatically? I want to set my Ipod to christmas music and put my bluetooth speaker outside but I only want it to play from 6-11pm is there a way I can get the music to automatically start playing and turn off at a certain time since most nights I won't be home to manually turn it on and off.
