How to be sure I'm getting the right iphone case if I order it off eBay?

I'm getting an iPhone 4S in 2 days so I wanted to get MAXIMUM protection cuz I saved up for 3 months to pay for upgrade and phone. And I'm kinda clumsy and drop my phone a lot so I really wanted the Defender Case from otterbox but it cost like $60! So I ordered a defender case on eBay for cheaper but how can I know for sure that the seller is giving me the otterbox DEFENDER case and not the cheapo otterbox impact case? Also - it said it won't come with retail packaging or belt clip and isn't the retail packaging what tells me if its a defender case? Does it say somewhere on the case that its a defender?

Added (1). Well it is significantly cheaper. On the website its 49-60 for a defender and on eBay its $13.99 but the reviews are 99.6% positive. I mean it says on the case Otterbox and it says otterbox defender in new condition on the site just worried that it won't be a defender…

But there are many defender cases for sale on eBay for $13.99-25 dollars

I would assume so.

If the item is significiantly cheaper than you would expect to pay then it won't be genuine. What is the seller's feedback like? If they have less than 99.5% positive or more than 2 negatives in a month don't touch them buy from someone else.
